SM Cares Housing Project for the Survivors of Typhoon Yolanda

As we mark the 3rd year of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), we are happy to announce the completion of the SM Cares Housing Project, with 1,000 disaster-resilient homes built in areas that were hardest hit by the Typhoon. SM Cares spearheaded the project, together with its land donors, tenants, business partners, employees and communities where an SM Mall operates.

We commemorate the spirit of "bayanihan" and the tremendous generosity of the donors who supported the SM Cares Housing Project.

The project is fully privately-funded and were given to beneficiaries for free. The villages are located at the following areas: Bogo, Cebu (200 houses). Concepcion, Iloilo (200 houses), Tacloban (400 houses) & Ormoc, Leyte (200 houses).
