This is according to the Department of Labor and Employment Region 3.

Ms. Ana Dione, DOLE Region 3 director, said that around 7,575 job vacancies for local employment will be offered by 143 participating companies from various industries.

“We are also expecting around 2,787 job vacancies for overseas employment from 24 private recruitment agencies, as processed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration,” Dione said.

“The vacancies are preliminary figures submitted by the DOLE Field Offices in coordination with the Public Employment Service Offices in the region and they are expected to rise in the days to come,” she stated.

Carrying the theme “Matatag na Kabuhayan at Trabaho Tungo sa Progresibong Pagbabago,” the Job and Business Fairs on May 1 shall simultaneously be held in SM Baliuag, SM Pampanga, SM Clark, and SM San Fernando Downtown.

The fairs will also be conducted at Metro Town Mall in Tarlac City, Freedom Park Capitol Grounds in Cabanatuan City and Ayala Harbor Point Mall in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

A similar activity will be held on May 5 at Vista Mall Bataan.

These Regional Job and Business Fairs adopted the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) concept of DOLE and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
