SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation (SMHCC) pursues its vision of building and operating hotels and convention centers that take pride in Filipino warmth and hospitality. The company’s current portfolio of over 1,900 rooms is housed in the 261-room Taal Vista Hotel, a heritage hotel which opened on 7 October 1939 and located in Tagaytay City; the 400-room upper upscale Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu; the 154-room Pico Sands Hotel in Hamilo Coast; the 204-room Park Inn by Radisson in Davao; the 155-room Park Inn in Clark, Pampanga; the 348-room in Conrad Manila in Pasay City; 199-room Park Inn in Iloilo and the 239-room in Park Inn in North EDSA.
SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation is bringing the first Lanson Place in the country, Lanson Place Hotel and Serviced Suites Mall of Asia, which is set to feature 250 hotel rooms and 150-room serviced suites. It is poised to cater to business travelers and MICE delegates as it is near the flagship SMX Convention Center Manila and the iconic E-Com office buildings.
SMX Convention Center
SMHCC operates convention centers and trade halls through SMX Convention Center (SMX), which have become a popular venue for both local and international events. Setting the bar in upscale convention facilities, SMX provides an ideal venue for large-scale institutional events, town hall meetings, weddings, exhibits and concerts in many cities across the country. Consequently, SMX has evolved into a growing franchise with its original site in Mall of Asia Complex now branching out to Taguig, Davao and Bacolod. SMHCC also operates trade halls in SM Megamall and SM City Cebu.
Put together, SMX has a total of over 37,000 square meters of convention space making it the largest privately-run exhibition and conventions business in the Philippines.
