SM foundation opens online application for college scholarship

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — The SM Foundation Inc. is now accepting online applications for its College Scholarship Program for School Year 2020-2021 until December 31, 2019.

Mary Joy L. Ballego, public relations officer of SM City here the scholarship program has been helping underprivileged students attain college degrees and make best use of their full potential to reach their life goals for over two decades now, with more than 4,000 college scholars supported.

She explained that to qualify, a student must be a Grade 12 public high school graduate or private school graduate with Department of Education voucher who completed junior high school from a public school. The applicant must have a general weighted average grade of at least 88% or its equivalent during the first semester. The total household income should also be Php150,000 or less per year.
