SM Investments Corp.’s (SMIC) consolidated net income increased by 10 percent to P26.2 billion in the nine months ending September from P23.8 billion in the same period last year, driven by the strong performance of its three key businesses.

In a disclosure on Wednesday, the Sy-led holding company said its property business contributed 43 percent to the total; banks, 36 percent; and retail, 21 percent.

Consolidated revenues grew by 12 percent to P307.4 billion in the period from P274.6 billion a year ago.
