The Power to Transform Our World

“You have to have a dream, whether big or small. Then plan, focus, work hard, and be very determined to achieve your goals.”
– Henry Sy, Sr.

Henry Sy, Sr. believed that education is the greatest equalizer. SM Foundation supports this notion and designates majority of its social investment in education. This year, the SM Foundation Education Program marked its 25 years of service.

A Profession of Hope

"Entrepreneurs are everywhere. It's a matter of giving them opportunities."
- Teresita Sy-Coson

Long before food security has become a global concern, Henry Sy, Sr. recognized that our farmers remained to be the most underserved sector of society. He also recognized early on that small-scale sustainable farming would be key to food security, not only for the individual families, but also for the greater communities.
